Agile Java Technical Manager

Primary Responsibilities are to:

• Manage sprints in accordance with the scrum framework, ensuring all ceremonies are in place and effective.
• Proactively manage risks/issues and removal of impediments.
• Perform Project reporting; both from a sprint perspective and, wider overall programme level view (inc. steering meetings)
• Manage Resource/schedule.
• Use an Agile development approach to fit large, complex projects.
• Be an expert in lean/agile project methodologies.
• Be responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating your cross-functional team to achieve a high level of performance and quality.
• Possess Proven Experience in leading geographically dispersed teams
• Possess Hands-on experience in developing and managing Java Web applications, REST APIs, ReactJS, React Native Apps on AWS Cloud platform using Redshift, GLUE, EMR, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, JSON, Neptune etc.
• Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended Protects the team , removes barriers to successful implementation , and keeps them focused on the task at hand Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity Maintain the backlog and release plans , and publish reports
• Possess advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle and of several software development methodologies Experience with processes and tools supporting Agile methodologies Experience developing training materials
• Act as Single point of contact interfacing with client
• Train the team and performs train the trainer role
• Own the project delivery from functional and quality perspective
• Attend weekly status calls
• Schedule and conduct demo with client teams
